Jane Carrion, Austin Chair
Jane Carrion, Reveille Call’s Austin Chair and Assistant Vice President of Internal Audit for Amplify Credit Union, holds the distinction of initially conceiving the idea of having a run in Austin on Veteran’s Day to honor our nation’s military and first responders - and Reveille Call grew out of that endeavor. The daughter of a WWII veteran and sister of an Army serviceman, Jane has a passion to ensure that our nation’s veterans receive the support they deserve back home. She also volunteers for the Austin chapter of Honor Flight. A day’s competition and camaraderie followed by monthly network opportunities for our local veterans are the most important goals to her.
To Jane, Veterans Day and Reveille Call are times to show gratitude to those individuals who have contributed to protecting our country and ourselves by spending time together in celebration of the call to duty. As the Reveille Call Austin Chair, she oversees all aspects of Reveille Call's events and supports the Outreach Program to connect local military and first responder veterans with potential employers, helping fulfill her goal of serving those who served us first.
Ashley Kamrath, Communications Director
Ashley Kamrath, a native Austinite, currently serves as Reveille Call’s Communications Director and the Public Relations Director for Reveille Peak Ranch and 5.11 Tactical. Growing up in a family rich with military history dating back to her great grandfather, Ashley gained a strong passion for giving back to and recognizing the unsung heroes of our men and women in uniform.
Ashley has enjoyed an extremely successful Media and Public Relations career, which included hosting NBC and CBS shows, working alongside Congressional Medal of Honor recipient Lt. Michael Thornton to help military families, and winning an Emmy Award in 2013 for her work on the "Rescue Remembrance Project". In addition to hosting two weekly radio shows that recognize veterans and their families, Ashley generously volunteers for 7 different military support organizations. Her extensive media experience and incredible dedication to veterans helps ensure Reveille Call’s message is heard across Texas and America.
Vol Montgomery, National Director
No stranger to entrepreneurial ventures, Vol has had a vision for owning an operational ranch and giving back to our natinon's veterans for many years. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from the school of engineering at Texas A&M, he founded SabreData, Inc. in 1988 and grew the company to over $30 million in 1999 and sold it same year. Vol retired from the tech industry in 2001 and developed Reveille Peak Ranch, the site of the inaugural 2014 Reveille Call.
Since 2001, Vol has continued to demonstrate his commitment to bettering the lives of our veterans. He founded Serve Who Serve, a 501(c) created to instill patriotism through support of our military, law enforcement, and emergency services personnel. Vol also helped found the Austin Carry The Load event as well as Reveille Call. As Reveille Call's National Director, Vol works to promote and guide Reveille Call from the local to the national stage through sponsorships and an inexhaustible supply of good ideas. He continues to be focused on the many other things he loves, including his family and the development of a first-class ranch facility for outdoor adventure, Reveille Peak Ranch.
